The video is a collage about knowledge and urge. A blind woman in a hospice tells a fairy tale from memory, a urologist describes the process of the urge to urinate and a philosopher describes Jacob Böhme’s concept of the will as ‘un-ground’ while I myself try to get information about a court case about an attack on a wild peeing man.
The installation lends the video a physical, corporeal component that results from the video. The splashing of the fountain can trigger or intensify the urge to urinate and the furniture protects the back from attacks.
