This website holds some of the my works, PDFs of current interests, a portfolio as well as my contact

My practice centeres around moving images – ideally, images that also move their audience. The research around abstract concepts like predetermination, contingency, fragility, or masculinities are rather the fascination than the subject of the work. By using objects, topics and people from the ordinary everyday life, like the function of the bladder, trapped squirrels, radio-controlled cars to haircuts and the like, I try to generate the sensation of closeness, which at times ends in a mode of oversharing or almost cringe. This very moment is involving and simultaneously creates a distance or barrier. Playing with the threshold between dysfunctionality and a compelling, almost magnetic pull, I embrace inherent ambiguities.

I am very open to exchange, insights and propositions regarding my recent research interest around the organ and similar wind-instruments, as well as game-dynamics and film. I’m also open to discuss commissions for lamps.
